Application Engineering

This section is in the beginning stage of development.  Once completed, you will be able to look up general engineering data and formulae, as well as information about belt applications.  You will also learn about various aspects of belting technology, including material science, product know-how, belt manufacturing technologies, etc.

Here is a glimpse of what's to come:

Conveyor Belt Tracking:

There are a number of methods how a conveyor belt can be tracked.  We will cover the most important ones, starting with the trapezoidal crown heights for pulleys in

U.S. customary units
  or  metric units.

All about Units:

Need to convert inches into millimeters, liters into fluid ounces or Fahrenheit into Centigrade?

These charts will help you!

Belting Glossary:

Have you read or heard a belting related term that you are not sure what it means?  Are you curious what "selvage" is?  Find your answers in the

belting glossary.
